What time can we check in to our room?
Check in time begins at 4:00pm. Guests are more than welcome to stop at the front desk anytime after 1:00pm to use the waterpark. If the room is clean it’s all yours!
What time is check out?
Check out from your room is 11:00am. You may stay to enjoy the waterpark until it closes.
How much is an extra waterpark pass if I’m staying at the hotel?
An extra pass when staying with us is $25 (includes tax).
Is there a place to change in the water park?
There are change rooms, showers and washrooms in the water park. Lockers are available in the water park at a charge of $1.00.
What is the charge for parking?
There is a fee of $15+HST for overnight guests and a parking pass will be issued. The charge is per 1 vehicle and is not charged per room. Any additional vehicles will be charged $15+HST for overnight parking pass. ***Note: We offer free parking to guests who are here for the day or evening only (waterpark passes, wedding guests, day meetings or functions, etc.).
Can we bring our dog with us?
Unfortunately the Americana does not allow any pets within the hotel. There are several pet kennels in the area.
Do you have any smoking rooms?
The Americana is a non-smoking facility. We do offer balconies or walk outs for the convenience of our smoking guests.
Does the hotel offer child care?
The Americana does not offer this service, however we do have the numbers to babysitting agencies in the area.
Do you have laundry facilities?
We do have laundry facilities onsite. Please ask the front desk for more information.
Do you have a business center?
There is a business center located in the lobby. This includes a computer terminal with internet access. The front desk can also assist with faxing, photocopying and other business needs.
Do you offer wireless internet access?
Wireless internet access is available to our guests and can be accessed while in the lobby or restaurant. All meeting and banquet facilities also feature wireless internet access.
What is your cancellation policy?
Standard cancellation period is 72 hours prior to arrival. Time period varies for groups and special offers – please call for details.
What is the distance from the hotel to the Falls and Clifton Hill area?
The Falls and Clifton Hill area is approximately 3 miles (approx. 5 km) from the hotel. It takes five to ten minutes to drive depending on the traffic. During certain dates there is a shuttle to the Falls area for a small fee. Please speak to the front desk for more information.

WEGO tourist shuttle bus service stops conveniently at the Americana front door, and travels to popular attractions in Niagara Parks and throughout the tourism areas of Lundy’s Lane, Victoria Avenue, Clifton Hill, Fallsview, Main & Ferry and Niagara’s downtown Queen Street.
