Prior to Arrival
When should I arrive?
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you relax in our lounge and eucalyptus steam rooms.
What should I wear during my treatment?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing, however, please wear whatever makes you comfortable. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Before and after your treatment, robes and slippers are provided.
Who can guide me in choosing my treatments?
Our Spa reservation agents can help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order for your treatments.
What about my jewelry and valuables?
If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in your guestroom. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in the Spa.
Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services. For men, shaving is recommended, but not necessary, prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two hours prior to your appointment.
What is the cancellation policy?
We request that all guests using the Spa extend a courteous 48-hour cancellation notice to change or cancel any appointment. If less than 48-hours notice is given, 100% service charge will apply. A credit card number is required at the time you book your treatments.
What about gratuities?
If you choose you may opt to leave gratuity for your therapist with the spa reservationists. The standard amount is typically 15 to 20 percent of the cost of service.
What about payment for Spa services?
We accept all major credit cards and traveler's checks. You may also charge Spa services to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is accepted prior to treatments at the time of check-in.
What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be charged.
Are Gift Certificates available from the Spa?
You may purchase Gift Certificates for a specific dollar amount or for a dollar amount towards particular services.
Is there a minimum age for treatments?
Guests under the age of 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. If under the age of 18, treatments will be performed by a therapist of the same gender as the guest.
What if I am pregnant?
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.
What if I have special health considerations?
Please notify our Spa reservation agent before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concerns at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
What about my comfort?
This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please share your preferences with us. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off in the spa.
